Disassembling An Acer Laptop

Here is how to Disassemble Acer Notebook. Before you begin the procedure make sure the power of the system and all peripherals is turned off. Next, unplug the AC adapter and all power and signal cables from the system and remove the battery back. Disassembling the hard disk itself is a slightly more complicated procedure. Start by gently detaching the connector from the hard disk module. Step two involves removing the two screws on both sides of the hard disk module. Then remove the hard disk plate from the module and slide the hard disk out from the hard disk drive bezel. This complete the disassembly procedure of an Acer laptop's hard disk drive.

Acer notebook top panel removal is not a hard procedure. First remove the two screws at the back of the main unit. Use a flatbladed screwdriver to lift up the middle cover from the lower case. Disconnect the speaker cable form the system board and lift the middle cover away. Next, remove the screw of the speaker from the middle cover and remove the speaker plate with speaker from the middle cover. Final step is to separate the speaker plate from the speaker.

Disassembling the LCD module involves the removal of the four cushions from the corners of the LCD bezel. Then you have to remove the four screws from the LCD bezel and snap off the LCD bezel. Next, you have to remove the two screws from the hinges and remove the hinges from the LCD bezel. Detach the hinge caps from the hinge and remove the five screws from the LCD and inverter board so that you can remove them from the LCD panel. Disconnect the LCD power cable from the inverter. Final step is to disconnect the LCD coaxial cable from the LCD.
